Delete your DateVillage account

In the app (fastest)

1. Open the DateVillage app and sign in.
2. Tap the Me tab.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete my account.
4. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

If you can no longer use the app

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your profile, photos of your choosing, bio, activities and preferences.
• Your matches, introductions and messages.
• Your groups and event sign-ups.
• Your email address and password.

What we may keep

• A limited record of safety reports and fraud signals, as long as needed to protect other members and meet legal duties.
• Purchase receipts, as long as the law requires for accounting.
• A one-way hash of your phone number, so it cannot be reused to evade a ban if your account was removed for breaking our rules.

Deleting your account does not cancel purchases made through the App Store or Google Play. Those are managed in your store account.
